A
hotel reborn around a 17th-century
portico built under Granduca Ferdinando
I. Outside peace and nature, inside
Italian styling and the art of hospitality. A Medicean residence
restored to its former beauty,
transformed into an exclusive resort. A
blend of Renaissance aura and
present-day comfort in a hotel where
luxury engenders relaxation.
Mineral
rich water of 42 celsius was discovered
as long ago as 500 BC and the Romans
took full advantage of the healing
benefits and built the first mineral
baths here. The Medicis also built a
villa here in the 17th century for the
same reason.
This
is the latest Tuscan resort of the STB
Group. A glorious 18th Century residence
restored to its former splendour.
Frescoed ceilings and a view of the
world’s most famous tower, just a few
kilometres from the sea. The noble spas
of the Asburgo Lorena have today become
the perfect place in which to forget
stress, relive history and rediscover
nature.
Fonteverde
never ceases to amaze with new emotions.
The Hall with its refined colors and
precious furnishings and the Tuscan
Restaurant with its grill, selected
wines and the tastes of a traditional
cuisine.
Sixty-eight rooms, seven junior suites and five
suites. Richly decorated premises with
terraces overlooking fields and verdant
hills. Bathrooms structured as miniature
spas.
Care of soul
and wellness of body is the main purpose
here. Our spa is an institute in itself
with a full range of
treatments, both esthetic and
therapeutic, administered by an expert
international staff of technicians
skilled in holistic, Ayurvedic, Thai and
Indian techniques.
Kneipp Therapy, alternating hot and cold
water in a foot path, offer great
benefits for the heart, circulation and
rehabilitation of injuries.
And again... new suites and new
wellbeing areas, where the Orient has
never been closer. Kristal Reiki and
Breathe together in the exclusive Pure
Energy Experience, glass domes for deep
emotional relaxation with the new
Harmony Therapy, sensuous exercise of
the 5 senses in the new dedicated
Experience.
But taste is also part
of the recipe. The traditional cuisine of
this corner of Tuscany offers infinite
temptations, with natural ingredients
and creativity employed in both our
gourmet cuisine and also for special
diets, such as low calorie or
vegetarian.
Every aspect of
the guest's care, comfort and pleasure is
our main concern. Even for those who
cannot bear to leave their beloved pets
behind. Our very unique program
provides a number of rooms
specifically outfitted to
accommodate their needs; wood floors, so
no stained carpets, throws for couches
and chairs, doggie bowls for water and
food, special menus, shampoos, dog walkers and
even a special outdoor thermal pool. No wonder
guests return over and over for a
holiday for the entire family.
Discretion is key at Fonteverde, which is
why we provide post operative
accommodations and care for those who
wish to recuperate and regain their
vitality.
