The Hartl Life Resort  and Spa is Europe´s leading Golf and Spa Resort located in Bad  Griesbach-Therme,  surrounded by a beautiful landscape. It is a charming village-like complex with three hotels, championship golf courses, pure relaxation and a world class spa. Each hotel has  its own character, its own special features and its own ambience.       The complex has 11 golf courses (six 18-hole courses, three 9-hole and one 6-hole courses), and the world´s greatest golf academy with 37  PGA Golf Professionals and two manors right on site of the golf courses of Uttlau and Sagmuehle.
      Just recently the resort was voted “Best golf resort in the world” by the readers of Germany´s leading golf magazine “Golf Journal” .The same readers voted the Hotel Maximilian “Best Golf Hotel”.  Hotel guest receive a  discount of up to 40% on the green fees and the free use of a shuttle-bus to the golf courses . One os a childrens course. 
       The “Koenig Ludwig” was voted “Most popular Wellness Hotel in Bavaria 2002” by the prestigious Mitsubishi Hotelguide. The Resort also has two indoor tennis courts and 6 outdoor courts.        The flagship of the Hartl Life Resort, the “Maximilian Hotel”, offers Ayurvedic treatments as well as a culinary combination with authentic Ayurvedian food (light indian/asian cuisine, low fat, lot of fish). It also offers a unique medical center, the “Orthodynamic Center”: Based on the concept that much  pain can be traced to dental abnormalities, just as reflexology treatments on the feet affect pain elsewhere in the body. Therefore five different doctors and a dentist offer the integration of a diverse range of treatments against almost all kinds of pain. How to get here: By Plane -Salzburg (53 miles) - Munich/Franz Josef Strauss Airport (87 miles) . Both airports have a  shuttle service on Saturdays from/to the airport for 35 EUROS per person each way.

By Train-  Karpfham station (1 mile) or Passau station (20 miles). The hotels offer special train ticket prices. Transfers from/to the train stations are also available.
